ABOUT US

The Old Goats were originally formed 1985 as a confederation of fans that congregated around David Wright 81 at every game. Our web presence was formed in 2005 as an online forum and information site for duPont Manual Football fans by John Wright 62 whose fascination with the internet led to the launching of Old Goats Online. In 2007 the Old Goats expanded there online presence, by adding Old Goat Radio and High School Sunday a football talk show originally hosted by Steve Vesel and Jimmy York. In that same year, Buzz Frank 68 was added as one of the Crimson Voices, to do streaming audio of Alumni interviews and Play by Play coverage of Crimson Football along with David Wright. In 2008 Kevin Cole' 81 joined the radio staff, as a Co-Host along with Buzz and David on High School Sunday and now with his help we have expanded to Video coverage of Basketball, Baseball and Football. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Dave Zuberer Athletic Director, Mike McDaniel Alumni Director and Manuals great coaching staff for helping us to achieve our mission to bring the best possible coverage of duPont Manual athletics online.

BUZZ FRANK '68 -
Son of Hall of Fame member Clarence Frank. Attended first Male/Manual game on Thanksgiving 1956 and has attended every one since. Played JV football in 1965 and varsity in 66-67. Won the Isaacs Award in 66 and the Mitre Award in 68.

ERIC BAXTER '02 -
Played defensive tackle and later became Freshman Football coach for 9 seasons Coaching the offense and defensive line

KEVIN COLE '81 -
Played JV and Varsity Football 77-80

JOHN WRIGHT '62 -
Class of '62 Missed only two Male Manual games since 1958. Over thirty years experience in print media marketing.

DAVID WRIGHT '81 -
A true Cradle Crimson and Self proclaimed historian of the modern era. He is the walking encyclopedia of Manual football. Dave played on the 79 and 80 teams.
